Nino in Singapore

11229407_10153442593272526_6884980206815234923_nWhat an exciting time! Nino and wife Michelle were so excited to buy tickets to watch Coach Lea Salonga in concert at the Esplanade and take a short vacation to Singapore. Singapore is a beautiful cosmopolitan city with so much to see and do. The trip was extra special because Tita Girlie Rodis and Nino’s cousin Rachel also came along for a couple of days!

Plus, not only was Lea’s concert magnificent (naturally! She brought the house down), she even invited Nino to sing “A Whole New World” with her! What an honor – sharing the stage with Princess Jasmine herself! A once-in-a-lifetime moment! (Check out the video on the videos page). Here are some quick photos in the Merlion City.

Nino in Japan

IMG_3375What an incredible honor and joy it was for Nino to be invited to Japan for a series of shows around Kyoto and Nagoya. This marks Nino’s first time back in over five years so it was a real treat for him to re-visit old haunts and eat old favorites (Japanese street food is the best!). He was also really happy to be able to re-connect with friends and to perform for both Japanese locals and Filipinos living and working in Japan alike.

Nino is looking forward to going back to Japan very soon and to other destinations around the world to share his own brand of rock and roll. Here are some photos of Nino’s time in the beautiful Land of the Rising Sun.
