Nino Alejandro Wows Audiences In The U.S.
After two years where we were locked indoors due to the pandemic, the world slowly reopened to some semblance of normalcy, and Nino Alejandro hit the road for a series of shows and performances to SRO crowds in the U.S.
Among the stops were New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix. Nino expressed his gratitude to each city about being so thankful to be performing for live audiences again.
Nino signs with Warner Music Philippines
In 2019, Nino took a bold new course in both his music and recording career and signed a deal with Warner Music Philippines. Though very thankful for his time with Star Music, Nino felt it was time to grow forward and expand his own music while producing new cutting edge music for the artists of Rebel Records Philippines.
“I felt Warner was a perfect fit for me,” Nino shares. “I really look forward to working with their team who value unique and innovative music and exciting new artists. I look forward to what we can do together.”

Nino Alejandro’s new single “Lagi Na Lamang” is now available on digital stores worldwide! The bittersweet, acoustic rock ballad is a collaborative songwriting effort by Nino and OPM songwriting great, Aaron Paul Del Rosario. Released by DNA Music/Star Music – ABSCBN.
The official music video was also released on February 22, 2019 by Star Music on its official YouTube page (ABS-CBN StarMusic) directed by Fox Rodriguez and Rafael Froilan.

Nino shines in Waitress MNL
Last November, Atlantis Theatrical staged the first international production of the hit Broadway show Waitress. The musical, a close adaptation of the 2007 film of the same name, is a current Broadway favorite with book by Jessie Nelson and music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Sara Bareilles. The show tells the story of Jenna (Joanna Ampil), a diner waitress with an incredible talent for baking pies as she, along with her friends and co-workers Becky (Bituin Escalante) and Dawn (Maronne Cruz), navigate life, love, and Jenna’s unwanted pregnancy.
Nino was ecstatic to join the Waitress MNL cast as Ogie – the eccentric and kindhearted suitor of quirky Dawn. He was immediately drawn to Ogie’s fun and memorable musical numbers and dove head first into this scene-stealing hilarious character.
Nino Alejandro launches Rebel Records Philippines
Nino has always been passionate about all aspects of music from performing to packed houses to writing songs to producing and mixing for other artists. He has written, produced, and mixed songs for artists such as Rachel Alejandro, Sheree, Ara Mina, Yra Johnson, and Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo to name a few. Over the course of his illustrious career, Nino has also considered himself extremely lucky to have been able to work with several esteemed songwriters and producers such as Ogie Alcasid, Vehnee Saturno, and Aaron Paul.
Taking his passion for music and his experience in music production, Nino has launched Rebel Records Philippines – his independent music label. Under his label, Nino is nurturing and developing exciting new musical talents and releasing new original Filipino music. Currently he has produced songs for Cholo Tolentino and Yanah Laurel. He has an exciting collaboration with artist Mama Char coming soon!

Nino Alejandro for D&D Custom Guitars Django
Nino has always been particular about his music equipment, especially his guitars. As a singer, songwriter, music producer, and recording artist, the guitar Nino uses has to fit his specifications to a tee and be able to deliver despite his rigorous show schedule. On any given month, Nino’s weeks are usually filled with 2-3 shows at a minimum and sometimes 5-6 shows when he is traveling and touring.
Once Upon a Mattress
This January 20-22, 2017, Nino joins Ephesus Teatron Group, Inc.’s production of the hilarious Broadway musical Once Upon a Mattress at the Tanghalang Yaman Lahi Theater, Emilio Aguinaldo College and directed by Steven Conde.
Once Upon a Mattress features Music by Mary Rodgers and Lyrics by Marshall Barer and Book by Jay Thompson, Marshall Barer, and Dean Fuller . It is based on the fairytale The Princess and the Pea by Hans Christian Andersen.
Nino on Wish FM 107.5
This January 2017, Nino joined his friend and fellow musician DJ Robin Nievera at Wish FM 107.5 for Roadshow Jams! He covered Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer”, one of his favorite songs. Check it out!
